My patients are as much a part of the treatment regimen and successful outcome as I am. Chiropractic is a natural method of health care, utilizing a non-surgical and drug-free approach to healing. It deals with the close relationship between the spinal column and the muscular and nervous systems. Every cell, tissue and organ in the body is controlled by the nervous system. When there is a restriction or misalignment in the spinal column, due to injury or repetitive stress, such as poor posture or biomechanics, pain is often the result. The goal of chiropractic is to remove these restrictions and misalignments, restoring the bodys normal biomechanics and allowing the natural healing processes of the body to function. It is important to treat each patient not only according to their symptoms, but to consider the mechanism of injury and the patients comfort level with a given treatment technique. Dr. Miller, her husband Steve, and their son Macallan live in Fond du Lac. She is currently trained as an instructor for CPR at the American Red Cross.
